Some say the Manitoba Yeti, or Maniyeti is a relative newcomer species to the south-west quadrant of the province, but some reports suggest this may be due to its summer northward migration patterns and its general elusiveness. A fondness for human activity, and bicycle use in particular seems to have drawn the creature out of the woods and into more populated areas.

It seems to feel comfortable around bikes and coffee shops and has recently adopted social media. It also keeps a blog which seems to be gaining some popularity. We are not sure if there are more than one, but only one has been seen. Actif Epica seems to have drawn the gentle creature out, and we are proud to have it associated with the event.

We’re trying to keep track of all sightings here. If you’ve seen him, let us know!
